Cat Wars Animation (10 marks)
Editing Nested Symbols & Adding Sound Effects
1. Open the sample file and change the colour of both lightsabers in the animation by editing the nested symbols. (1 marks)
2. Make each lightsaber have a light effect and glow (blur). (2 marks)
3. Import the lightsaber fight sound effect file and add it to the animation. (1 marks)
4. Edit the sound effect so it does not loop. (1 marks)
5. Add stop actionscript at the end so it does not loop. (1 mark)
6. Add a start button to start the animation (2 marks).
7. Add a replay button to replay the animation (2 marks).

Friday Animation: The Gift
Interactive Diagram Cow's Eye (10 marks)
1. Create an interactive diagram for a cow's eye (example below) using buttons with different keyframe actions for Up, Over, Down.
-This Interactive Diagram is an example of creating an interactive study guide for students that a publisher might use online to supplement their textbook.
-The UP state has everything empty in the diagram.
-The OVER state appears when hovering over the text (which is designated as a button) and the description should appear for each part of the eye.
-The DOWN state appears when you click on the button adding the highlighted part of the diagram and a line pointing to it should appear.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the Exploding Eggs Start file and the Sound FX zipped folder and extract all.
2. Watch the video below of the exploding easter eggs.
3. Use the Exploding Eggs Start file and select some sounds in the Sound FX folder to complete your own exploding eggs animation. 3 eggs are blown up for you, you will need to blow up the last one on your own.
4. Once completed, hand in on Edsby for the assignment submission.

Inspirational Quotes Animation (20 marks) - Stage size: 800 W x 400 H, frames: varies
Create and hand in using Edsby
- Stage size: 800 px x 400 px (1 mark)
- The animation will start with the title “Inspirational Quotes – (your first name, last initial)” (2 marks)
- Use SIX scenes (title, quote 1, quote 2, etc.) (1 mark)
- Include FIVE quotes - each on their own scene. (2 marks)
- Make sure to include the author of quote at the end of the quote (OR song title and musician). (2 marks)
- Reveal one word at a time using the mask tool (2 marks).
- Add music to the background (using web site provided - Ben Sound) and music stops at the end (2 marks)
- Add a background that relates to each quote (use a photo from Unsplash.com). (2 marks)
- Make sure there is contrast to make it easy to read your quote or lyrics. For example, the slideshow of quotes below are all easy to read. (2 marks)
- Make the appropriate adjustments to time your animation so everything can be read (not too fast, enough time to read all words) and stop at end. (2 marks)
- Name all of your layers and library items appropriately. (2 marks)
